Welcome

We cordially invite you to join us at a future club meeting to see for yourself what Kiwanis is all about and if the Kiwanis Club of Webster is the club for you.

Meetings are held at 7:30 PM every Tuesday evening at Hedges Restaurant, located at 1290 Lake Road in Webster, New York unless otherwise noted. Please check the calendar for location changes.

What is Kiwanis?
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. As a group, these volunteers can achieve what they cannot do alone. These men and women attend Kiwanis club meetings of fellowship and inspiration. Kiwanis is not a social club nor a secret or political society. It does not prescribe a way of life for others. It often does, however, act as a forum of diverse ideas.

What it means to be a Kiwanian
Through Kiwanis membership, individuals can give of themselves - their experience, knowledge, time, and love - to those who need it the most. Kiwanians can work for a way of life in which they believe. As members of a local club, members have the opportunity to:

  • Make business and professional contacts
  • Learn first-hand about local, national, and international issues
  • Improve and use leadership skills
  • Participate in the life of their community and world
  • Develop lifelong friendships

Adopt A Platoon PDF Print E-mail

The Kiwanis Club of Webster has adopted a platoon, which was recently deployed to Iraq. There are 35 soldiers in the platoon. Four boxes of supplies have already been shipped and they should receive them just before Christmas. Our goal is to send a couple of boxes every week until they return.

With over 100 members in our club this shouldn't be a problem. Any donations are welcome and a box will be at every meeting so please take time to drop off something they might need. Monetary donations are welcome to help offset the shipping costs. If you have any questions please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

A list of desired supplies can be found below and will be updated as needed. If you can't donate supplies please consider writing a card or several cards as they appreciate your words of support.
